Service Calendar
This page sets out the Service Calendar referred to in the Lioncrest People Terms and Conditions. The Service Calendar for each Territory is the list of nationwide regular holidays and special non-working days officially declared by the government of that Territory, as published at the official sources linked below. Where a Seat is assigned to work a Client's local business hours, a different calendar may apply, as set out below. Those official lists are incorporated into the Terms by reference.
Subscription fees are priced on an annualised basis taking the Service Calendar into account. The Plan Fee is the same in every Subscription Period. It is not reduced in a Service Week containing a public holiday and it is not increased in a Service Week without one. See Sections 2.6, 5.4, 5.5 and 7.2 of the Terms.
Philippines
The Philippine government declares nationwide regular holidays and special non-working days each year by presidential proclamation. The current official list is published by the Official Gazette of the Republic of the Philippines.

Three things to note
- The annual proclamation is not the complete list. The national holidays for Eid'l Fitr and Eid'l Adha are declared separately, later in the year, once the dates have been determined by the Islamic calendar on the recommendation of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos. Both are regular holidays.
- Cities and municipalities declare their own local holidays by separate proclamation. Lioncrest personnel are based in Metro Manila and Cebu, and local holidays declared for those areas are observed in addition to the nationwide list.
- Additional special non-working days are sometimes declared at short notice, occasionally within days of the date itself. These are observed as declared.
Philippine law distinguishes between a regular holiday and a special non-working day, and the two carry different statutory pay treatment. Where a Client requires work on a Territory public holiday under Section 5.6 of the Terms, the applicable statutory premium is charged as an Additional Capacity Block.
South Africa
South Africa observes twelve public holidays determined by the Public Holidays Act, Act No. 36 of 1994. Where a public holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday is also a public holiday. The official list is published by the South African Government.

The official page publishes the current and following year, so both the 2026 and 2027 calendars are available there.
Seats working to a local calendar
Some Seats are assigned to work the Client's own local business hours rather than Territory hours. Where the Order Form specifies a local-time assignment, for example Australian or United States business hours, the Assigned Specialist observes the public holidays of the region named on the Order Form.
Public holidays vary by state and territory within both Australia and the United States. The Order Form names the specific state or territory whose calendar applies, and that calendar governs. A Seat assigned to New South Wales hours will not necessarily observe the same days as a Seat assigned to Queensland or Victoria hours.
Statutory holiday entitlements in the Assigned Specialist's own Territory continue to apply as a matter of local employment law and cannot be contracted out of. Where a Territory statutory holiday and the local calendar do not align, the Order Form sets out which days are non-service days for your Seat. If you are unsure which days apply to your Seat, ask us and we will confirm in writing.
Nothing changes about the fee
Whichever calendar applies to your Seat, the position in Sections 2.6, 5.5 and 7.2 of the Terms is the same. The Plan Fee is fixed for the Subscription Period and is not reduced, credited or pro-rated in respect of any public holiday, on either calendar.
Your assigned specialist
By default, the holidays that apply to your Seat are those of the Territory in which your Assigned Specialist is located. Your Assigned Specialist's Territory is confirmed on your Order Form at onboarding. Lioncrest gives advance notice of scheduled non-service days and of planned leave under Section 7.1 of the Terms.
If you need a consolidated calendar for your specific Seat for the current year, contact support@lioncrestpeople.com and we will send it to you.
Official government sources last reviewed 1 January 2026. Lioncrest observes the official holiday calendar of each Territory as declared from time to time. Where the linked official source and this page differ, the official source applies.
