The role
You'll be the link between operations management and the site crew: running the site day to day and jumping on plant when needed.
What you'll do
- Supervise and coordinate the crew so work meets spec and program
- Manage site logistics, equipment, materials and resourcing with operations and logistics
- Run toolbox talks and inductions
- Keep site paperwork tight: traceability, progress records and incident reports
- Coach the team, drive accountability and keep everything compliant
What you'll bring
- Experience as a Project Supervisor or in a similar role
- Spray seal and/or asphalt experience
- Strong knowledge of civil site safety, and an understanding of bitumen and road construction methods
- The ability to read plans and specs, plus QA and compliance documentation experience
- A White Card, and First Aid (or willingness to get it)
- Willingness to work away for up to 2 weeks at a time
- Highly regarded: formal construction or civil qualifications
